FLEXWELD II 'MULTI-AXIS' LASER BLANK WELDING SYSTEM
Flexweld II 'Multi-Axis' Laser Blank Welding System. |
|
The Flexweld II series of laser blank welding systems, represents a new, lower cost approach to the need for systems that can accommodate linear, multi-linear, multi-axis and curviliniear welding requirements. By combining the attributes of a time proven and robust linear weld station, with a fully integrated lower servo shuttle that drives a quick-change dedicated weld 'fixture', the system provides a new level of flexibility to the tailored blank manufacturing market.
Control options can be selected to multi-axis and curvilinear requirements. A servo weld head with programmable roate and tilt axes, seam tracking and seam geometry measurement, are standard.
As with all VIL systems, the customer can select from a variety of laser and robot manufacturers, to suit their particular standards or preferences. All VIL/Wayne Trail laser weld systems are CDRH class 1 compliant, and are fully tested prior to shipment.
